I Think I'm Burnt Out
We live in a day and time where the idea of rest seems elusive and hustle culture golorifies feeling overwhelmed. What if rhythms of rest and pause can be added into your weekly, monthly, and yearly schedule? Rest is not a reward but a right. If you refuse to find moments of rest and solitude, your body will find it for you. Rest should include mental, physical, emotional, social, creative, and a sensory focus. I can help you to rediscover joy in slowing down enough to regain your passion, health, peace of mind, and creative flow.

My Focus is Limited
What has your attention? What is that one thing that robs you of your focus and daily productivity? Is it pleasure, social media, television, the pursuit for more? Whatever it is, it has a tendency of robbing you of things you used to aspire and dream of for your life. What would it look like if you blew the dust of that old vision board? Finished that book! Or reignited your pursuit of starting that business. When’s the last time you had five minutes to spare and didn’t pull out your phone? Don’t worry! I’m not judging you. I struggle with that one myself. With a little bit of help and the right tools, your focus and perspective can expand.

I Feel Stuck
What if the only thing consistent in life is not moving forward? Change is inevitable, whether it’s for your good or it’s working against you. Have you experienced little to no momentum with your personal, professional, and community goals? Even if your next steps are small, you might still need some direction where you would like your feet to land. A lack of direction and purpose can lead to you remaining in the security and safety of where you’re currently at. Even if it means living with the regret of what you’ve been putting off for quite some time now.

Grieving Setbacks
As a trauma therapist, I’ve mentioned to past clients how at times we may grieve the negative things that we’ve experienced and also the good things we didn’t get to experience, such as love, nurture, and affection. Grief can also include setbacks in life, such as divorce, infertility, getting passed up for a promotion, death, job termination, moving to a new state, major life transitions, and etc. What are you grieving that you haven’t had a chance to process and sit with? At times grief can show up in our disappointments, regrets, and difficult moments. I can help you to navigate the tough season you are going through with a little bit of practical and much needed help.
